Welcome to the show notes! Remember, this is a brief summary from the How to Market Your Horse Business podcast. You'll want to listen to the entire episode for all the good stuff!

As a follow-up to last week’s episode on memberships, this week we’re revisiting a previous podcast episode all about practical ways you can market your membership.

Whether you already have a membership or you’re considering starting one, you’re going to get practical tips and insights to help you market your membership!

More and more, memberships are becoming popular in the horse world.

They have a number of names and looks about them, including:

  • Paid private FB groups

  • Video library

  • On-demand education

  • Patreon member

Essentially, they all have the same premise at their core: someone is paying a monthly amount to you for access to your education, information and expertise.

The popularity of memberships for horse businesses is exactly why I invited Annie Kennedy to join me on the podcast.

I met Annie when we were both on a panel about podcasting at an American Horse Publications conference.

She has a podcast which you’ll also hear about in this episode. But as I learned about her other roles at The Equine Network, I immediately thought of my audience of horse business owners.

As Consumer Marketing Manager at the Equine Network— which means she’s the person who oversees marketing for digital their subscription video on-demand offerings such as Horse & Rider On-Demand and Dressage Today On-Demand—I thought she’d have some insights you could learn from. And she does!

Whether you have a membership or not, the things that Annie is sharing today absolutely can apply to your overall marketing.

The examples she gives are specific to memberships, but if you listen through the filter of your own business set-up, I know you’ll walk away with some great things to apply to your own marketing.

3 Tips to Market Your Equine Membership:

Of course, you'll want to listen to the full episode to dig into each tip from Annie and discover how you can apply each one to your horse business!
