The social media landscape has seen a shift over the past year. What does it mean for how you market your equine business using social media?

Let’s talk about it!

How has the social media landscape changed for equine businesses?

  1. Consumers are craving originality.

Especially given the rise of AI seeming to touch every facet of our lives, originality is more important than ever. They want real people – and to extend that to businesses, your potential clients and customers are looking to see if you solve real problems with real solutions.

  1. Influencer marketing is here to stay.

The key to effective influencer marketing? It’s not large followr counts. Aligned collaborations are the clincher to making the most of influencer marketing for your equine business.

  1. Customer engagement is paramount.

  1. Quality Over Quantity

Social platforms are reaching peak saturation, and posting for the sake of posting only creates noise. Instead, the best brands will craft truly original identities and prioritize engagement over talking at their audiences.

How can you apply these social media changes to help you market your equine business?

  1. Permission to post less.

Focus on quality content that builds trust over quantity of content that is surface-level and doesn’t take your audience deeper with you.

  1. Be human.

Especially in an AI-driven world it’s more important than ever to create content that is relatable, authentic, and entertaining.

  1. Create a blend of content.

In order to grow your equine business, you do need to create content that invites followers to become customers. Just don’t let that be the only type of content you create.

  1. Build relationships.

As a business, it can be tempting to create content and be done with it. But, the real fruit is going to come from what you do in between content creation.

Of course, you'll want to listen to the full episode to dig into each of the insights shared and discover how you can apply each one in your horse business!
